Pre-Tribulationists believe that there will be a group of people saved after the rapture, and during Daniel’s 70th week, and it’s those people who go through the persecution of the Antichrist. So let’s take a look at what troubles the church is promised, and what the saints of Revelation go through.

I see many teachers talk about 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. Most say verses 1-2 refer to the rapture, and the rest are about Jesus’ 2nd Coming, and some say the whole chapter is about Jesus’ 2nd Coming. I wouldn’t want to come across as a snot-nosed brat who thinks she knows everything, but neither of those options make sense to me. Let’s look at the passage and then we’ll talk about it.

The idea that the rapture will happen before the 7-year Tribulation is dangerous. But I’m not going to debate the timing on this post. I’m here to plead for my fellow brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ to strengthen their spiritual resilience, and lean heavily on God. If you harden yourself to stone against the possibility of seeing any of the events portrayed within Revelation happen around you, then you could be among those who are deceived by the enemy. Remember, we’re given hearts of flesh, not stone (Ezekiel 36:26).
